Lead Software Development Engr in Test - West Services, Inc.

Oversee and review creation and execution of test strategies, plans and test cases using manual and automated testing techniques using tools - Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Selenium and through programmatic techniques using Java code, C#/.
NET, Selenium, webservices for assigned projects. Participate in business and software requirements, design reviews and analyze software designs in conjunction with the development team to ensure that all ramifications of the changes or additions have been discovered.
Manage defects for current and past iterations by identifying proper resources, estimating the severity and impact, and status tracking through defect and change management tools - Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS). Provide technical guidance to testing team for analysis & testing of complex features at various layers in application using software development tools to enhance & support WestlawNext and LT Court Tech C-Track and E-file products.
Manage large and complex long term software testing projects which primarily use the Agile software development methodology, through appropriate project management techniques and tools to include: resource estimation, allocation and prioritization, business case estimation, software quality assessments, client report generation, and time reporting. Manage and monitor day-to-day operations of test team, ensuring that testing activities are completed in accordance with the agreed schedule.
Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of assigned team of software test engineers and senior software test engineers. Enable and support employee development by working one-on-one with direct reports to define and maintain employee goals and development plans.
