The EA team needs to add at least six, experienced, EA's to their team to work on new projects.I.

General requirements:* You live in the USA or Canada and will move to Detroit (they are located downtown)II. Technical requirements:* 10 - 15 years in IT* 3 - 5 years as an EA (Enterprise Architect)* Experience with messaging systems and technologies* Experience developing transactional systems * Experience rewriting, refactoring, re-architecture and scaling applications* Experience with inter-system communication strategies , including ESB, web services* Experience using various development methodologies.

III. Duties:.

The EA works with Engineers, Business Analysts, Business Consultants, Project Managers and Stakeholders as part of the team that plans and defines the focus and direction for future technology projects..

The Architecture team works across the enterprise in several capacities to ensure that technology is optimized to support the business. T hey bring business and technical experience to the initial design and planning of a project to assist in designing solutions that will work effectively within business, technical and security constraints.

T hey work across business and technology teams to help facilitate effective communication and act as independent facilitators for debate of the merits of competing ideas. They evaluate and select strategic technical platforms for production use.

.EA's participate in the creation and evolution of a technology road map that defines current technical architectures and future architectures.

. EA's are subject matter experts for architectural frameworks, methods, design patterns, and tools.

. Lead strategic technological planning to achieve company's goals.

. Provide an architecture that meets the company's business needs and provides the most efficient and secure IT environment possible.

. Ensure that the business and IT are in alignment.

. Drive common approaches and to expose information assets and processes across the enterprise.

. Document using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of the organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.

. Work with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets.

. Research, analyze and promote technology standards to be used across the enterprise.
