Performs an active Quality Assurance role to ensure high quality work delivered on time. Ensures that proper Security is maintained over all project materials, in accordance with Department Security procedures.
Coordinates with other Contractor components to deliver project support. When operating out of a Document Center, the Project Manager's work may be subject to coordination or direction by the Lead Project Manager.
The Project Manager for this assignment will be the primary point of contact between the attorney/paralegal team and the Litigation Support Staff. Will be charged with tracking, in extensive detail, all incoming and outgoing discovery.
Problems with discovery volumes must be identified, determination made (after conferring with Trial team and litigation support Manager) as to whether the volume should be reproduced in the correct format or repaired in-house. Will interface directly with defense counsel or their contractors to assure that the problem is resolved.
The candidate should have 4+ years of progressively more responsible supervisory and Management experience on major litigation support projects. An Undergraduate degree preferred.
Law degree or other pertinent graduate degree helpful. Requires expert knowledge of litigation support; outstanding Writing skills; excellent oral communication skills and excellent Management skills.
