Utilizes open source projects in order to decrease development time. Responsible for diagnosing and maintaining software / hardware related issues with Apple iDevices.

Develops, architects, designs and tests the departments growing suite of iOS applications. Converts existing browser-based enterprise products to mobile compatible web applications.

Responsible for front and back end web application appearance and functionality: designs technical specifications, designs interfaces, writes code, test, documents, maintenance and user support. Develops database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing with external Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.

Ensures the use of effective IT governance procedures to provide high quality IT products and processes. Ensures target achievement is consistently attained.

Completes technical documentation and test scripts. Conducts unit and integration testing and ensures performance and authorizations.

Has in-depth knowledge of the solutions available and acts as a consultant during business process definition as delegated by the BMW Department Manager, Validation Geometric Integration, and Total Vehicle. Assist in the development standards and procedures in documenting, testing, reviews, and feasibility studies.

Applies proven communication skills, problem-solving techniques, and knowledge of best practices on issues related to IT application design and build. Stays current on future innovations and applies to direct future changes.

Assists Department Manager, Validation Geometric Integration, Total Vehicle as a mentor to other team members in regards to technical best practices and new tools. Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor (less)
