This function is responsible for medical billing and/or medical collections. Positions in this function interact with internal customers to gather supporting data to ensure claim accuracy and also work through specific billing discrepancies. This function also monitors outstanding balances and takes appropriate actions to ensure payment for medical claims as billed. Reconciliation of claim payments with accounts receivables may also be required.
